Baby Shower Games
How Far Around?
This game requires the use of a spool of ribbon, yarn or you can even use toilet paper. Have each baby shower guest cut off how much they think will go around the tummy of the mom-to-be. Then measure by wrapping one around the Mom. The guest who was closest, wins!
Baby Word Scramble Game
Pick 10 or so words related to babies, write them down and scramble the letters. Make copies of the scramble word sheet for each baby shower guest. Be sure to set time limit of about 5 minutes to try to unscramble the words.
Guess the Number of Candy Game
Fill a baby food jar or baby bottle with little jelly beans or other small candy. Show the baby shower guests the baby bottle and have them guess how many candies are in the container. Closest one wins.
Baby Name Scramble
Have guests use the Mom and Dad's names to come up with names for the baby using a combination of the parent's names. It's really funny to see the names that people come up with. The guest with the most combinations win.
Sniff The Mystery Diaper
For this really funny game you'll need the cloth like disposable diapers, don't use plastic diapers. You'll need to get at least six different types of candy bars and six diapers. Choose a candy bar, then break it up and place in a diaper. Put diaper in microwave and watch carefully, you may want to use the defrost setting. Melt the candy bar just till it's goo. Do this with each candy bar. Make a note sheet with which diaper has what type candy bar. Using a marking pen, number each diaper and then pass them around the party. Guests have to sniff the mystery diaper and then write down what kind of candy bar they think is in each one. This baby shower game is hilarious.
